Revised sign plans presented by Lou Belknap from Agile Signs and Glenn Taylor of Huntington Bank.  Removing the directional signage noted as 09 and proposing the bull-nose awnings in green.

Committee Comments, Questions, Concerns

  • Are the additional logos needed?  Seems that the logos are out of proportion in the rendering?
  • More space is needed around the logo in the arches at the top of the facade.
  • Can the word "Parking" be eliminated on the directional signs noted as N08, seems to be redundant.  Replace "Enter" with "Bank".
  • Is the owner of the plaza ok with the color of the green arches? Yes, they received landlord approval.

Councilman Conwell is in attendance at the meeting.  He is available for comment.  Councilman states that residents are excited about the Huntington bank coming to the Glenville neighborhood.

Councilman Polensek is in attendance at the meeting as well.  He is available for comment.  Councilman is in support of the bank.

Motion to approve the awnings within the brick arch as presented as fabric, non illuminatined, approve the directional sign with the words bank and ATM, approve illuminated logos as reduced in size to allow adequate space between the logo and the archways for a halo effect.
